About

My name is Indi. As of 2024 I've obtained my BFA in animation/illustration with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Fredonia. As an undergrad I was the student association representative for the Latino Student Union ("Latinos Unidos") as well as a member of NASU, the Native American Student Union. I obtained experience working in Archives and Special Collections at Reed Library which contributed toward my interests in history and Indigenous studies as part of my current program.

In progress is my MA in anthropology with a concentration in archaeology at the University at Buffalo. My work involves funerary archaeology in the regions of Southern Mexico and Greater Nicoya in Central America, and filling in gaps of knowledge on lesser known Indigenous communities and their histories in these areas.
