About

My name is Isabella Michelle Cook and I have recently finished my freshman year at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College. I am a very conscientious, hardworking and dedicated student who makes my education a priority. Becoming an Intervention Specialist (special education teacher) has been a long-term goal that I set for myself when I became an aide and tutor for the high school intervention specialist my freshman year.
During my high school career, I have played four years of varsity soccer, four years of varsity basketball, two years of varsity cross country and two years of varsity track. I was a member of the National Honor Society and I tutored in the school’s resource room.
I am a fifteen year member of the Clinton County Fur and Feather 4-H club where I have served as vice president, health officer, safety officer, and mentor younger, upcoming 4-H members. I serve on the 4-H rabbit committee where we set standards and guidelines for the upcoming fair season. I was the co-team captain for the Relay for Life in Dayton, Ohio, I have volunteered with the Wounded Warrior Project, I collected items for the Operation Christmas Child, and I was a Blanchester Hoopsters Basketball Coach for 2nd and 3rd grade students.
I was selected by my teachers and coaches to participate in the Anthony Munoz Leadership Conference. I was elected team captain for both soccer and basketball, I received 1st Team SBAAC for soccer and cross country and 2nd Team SBAAC for soccer, and I have received the Academic Scholar Award, the Coaches Award and Most Improved Player for soccer.
I have worked two years at Kreative Kids Childcare Center in Blanchester, Ohio where I help plan and implement lessons for the children and work individually with students with special needs. I have also worked for Dan Hinkle’s Home Improvement where I assist in demolition and repairs of homes and businesses. Also, I babysit two young children throughout the year.
I have truly enjoyed my first year of college. I am excited to start my sophomore year this upcoming fall.

Outside the classroom

I coach girls basketball at Blanchester Middle School. I have always enjoyed sports. Throughout high school, I received four varsity letters in basketball, four varsity letters in soccer, two varsity letters in cross country, and two varsity letters in track and field. Last year was my last year in 4-H, making it 15 years that I had been a member. I am now volunteering as a 4-H advisor. I show rabbits at the Clinton County Fair. I enjoy running with my dog, Lauren, who I rescued last year from a kill shelter.
