About

I am currently pursuing MSc. Geology and Natural Resources at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. I am a geologist with interest in sustainable natural resources exploration and exploitation with proper environmental management and pollution prevention.

Education

  • Ball State University

    MSc. Geology and Natural Resources

    2022 – 2023

  • University for Development Studies

    BSc. Earth Science

    2012 – 2016

Honors and awards

My poster was among the best three among 225 others and my research was awarded among three others

  • Indiana Association of Environmental Professionals Scholarship for 2022

$2000 scholarship was awarded to me for the incredible academic record and research I am conducting to support towards tuition

Goals and interests

Career goal

I would love to work in the mining/hydrocarbon industry after graduating to further use my acquired knowledge and skills to improve the activities in the industry. This includes exploration, exploitation, site assessment and remediation and environmental management.

Graduate school interests

My intention to pursue masters degree is because of the adverse impact of mining activities I have observed when working in the field. Ball State University gave me the opportunity to learn advance knowledge and skills in environmental site assessment and remediation. My research work involves assessing heavy metals concentration in the sediments of the White River in Muncie.

Outside the classroom

Swimming, reading, hiking, soccer, going out, movies, pool etc.
