About

I love school and I am always excited to learn new things and sometimes the most random pieces of information are the most interesting. I work hard at whatever I do and I tend to be a little bit of a perfectionist. I love having fun and spending time with the people I love. I am a diabetic and legally blind, but I do not let anything hold me back. I use strong contacts and glasses to see. I will never see perfectly, but as of right now I am very close to perfect. People seem to like to limit me due to my disabilities which only makes me work harder to achieve my goals. I have three lovely sisters and a niece and nephew. I love them to pieces and would not trade them for anything in the world. They always spur me on to strive to be the very best that I can knowing my disabilities they do not see me as anything less than normal.

Honors and awards

  • Academic Excellence

I have received this throughout my high school career for my superior grades and extra-curricular activities.

  • Senior Dancer

I am the senior dancer at my studio so I teach younger kids and choreograph my own solo and a few other dances. She chooses one dancer every year normally based off of their dedication and skill.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Author or Journalist. I would love to be an author, but I realize that it does not pay the bills right away and I have pursued journalism as a job to pay the bills before my love of novels does. My parents always joked that I would write the next Harry Potter series since I was so obsessed with the books for a very long time and accomplishing something as successful as that is a new personal goal!

Graduate school interests

I have not decided if I am going to go to grand school yet but if I did I would continue my study of English and writing to better equip me to meet my goals.

Outside the classroom

I am a Dancer for Allison's Dance Academy and I have danced since Kindergarten. I take part in jazz, hip hop, ballet, point, and lyrical. I play guitar and it is a great stress reliever. I babysit my nephew and niece and spend 80% of my time with them. I love to read and write and always have. I also love sports and I used to play volleyball, but I have had some injuries that have stopped me from playing school ball. I also love going to movies with friends and getting competitive over the smallest games. I also collect napkins and randomly started because my mom thought it was a cool thing to do in the third grade I now have nearly 200. I love Netflix and I am a major fan of Supernatural, The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Arrow and many other shows.
