About

I recently graduated from a New Zealand high school in December 2025 and am preparing to begin my Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Civil Engineering at Duke University in August 2026. During this eight-month break, I completed a semester of Engineering coursework at the University of Canterbury, followed by a self-funded, five-week solo backpacking trip across Japan.

I am a top-tier academic student, placing in top 0.25% nationally and 0.35% internationally in various awards and competitions, and a highly successful international multisport (triathlon) athlete (placing 21st Men's Elite). Additionally, I'm a representative athlete in Rugby and hold leadership positions such as Head of House, School Prefect, Charity Leader (raised $6800 USD), SVA Ambassador (founded 30-member team, planted 50,000+ saplings), Debating A-team Co-Captain, and Rugby Captain (2 years).
