About

My name is Jacob Copeland Hill. I am an upper-middle class Caucasian male. The biggest introductory fascination about me is that I have a condition formerly known as Hemihypertrophe: Half of my body grows and develops slightly faster than the other. It's not a very extreme case, but it's something I battle with daily because it throws me off of my balance often, and my shoes are sometimes ordered in two sizes with a lift put in my right. I have two heights of 5' 9" and 5' 10", giving me two BMIs. To this day I don't which side I'm supposed to be if I didn't have this condition, but I doubt it's neither

Education

  • Fairfield City Schools

    2003 – 2016

Honors and awards

  • Louis Armstrong Award

As a senior in high school, I was awarded one of the two LAAs given each year for being the best Jazz musician along with my best friend Josh, who plays the same instrument as me and received the same award.

  • Marching Band Award

I was given the senior award for best musician in the Marching Band.

Goals and interests

Career goal

In terms of my ideal career, I'd be working for a big name computer company such as Intel designing smaller, faster and more software-friendly chip sets that are accessible to as many people as possible. That being IDEAL, I'd also love to do similar work for game engine development. Other safety nets could include my slight interest in architecture, construction, graphical design or music composition.

Graduate school interests

If I were to go to grad school, I would do my best to forward the acquisition of knowledge and resources to the people of the United States and the world.

Outside the classroom

I love to exercise on trampolines, I enjoy creating video game environments and other content for the games I play, I often enjoy discussing politics with anyone who has a firm, knowledgeable but open mind, I enjoy teaching mathematical concepts to anyone eager to learn about them, and I absolutely love to make people happy and make them laugh.
