About
I am a second-degree seeking student at Penn State Altoona pursuing a career transition from the performing arts to healthcare. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in 2021, and recently retired from my career as a professional dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT). Having worked alongside healthcare professionals of various fields of medicine, I am inspired to become a healthcare provider myself. With their help, I was able to follow my passion, and my new career goal is to help others do the same by becoming a Physician Assistant.

I have looked at many Physician Assistant Programs, most of them in my new home state of Pennsylvania. Although I hold a Bachelor's degree, I am currently enrolled at Penn State Altoona to fulfill the required science prerequisite courses before I can apply. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to return to higher education, which has reignited my passion for science and continued learning as an adult.
