About

My name is Jacob Payette. I'm from Huntington Beach, California and I came to study Biology at Oregon State University. I've always been an outdoor person, and when I'm not outdoors I'm watching nature documentaries and wildlife shows. I've always wanted to be a naturalist like my late hero Steve Irwin, and others like Jeff Corwin and Austin Stevens. I'm also very interested in pushing science in the lab and in the field. If I do well enough in my undergrad tenure I might apply to med school. I'm not 100% certain what I'm meant to do in this life, but I know it will be special. I chose biology because there are a google of different things I will be able to do with that degree. I can be a doctor or a zookeeper or a cancer researcher or a wildlife biologist or anything else in the world. I'm not sure what else to add to this, but I hope that has given you a good idea of my academic future.
