Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am on a path to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, where I will combine my strong clinical foundation and academic excellence to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare. In my future role, I envision working in diverse settings; from hospitals to community clinics, where I can address both acute and chronic mental health challenges. My goal is to bridge the gap between immediate crisis intervention and long-term mental wellness by developing personalized treatment plans that consider each patient’s unique background and cultural context.
I plan to leverage my experience in leading study groups and collaborating with fellow professionals to foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation in mental health care. By integrating research, advanced clinical skills, and patient advocacy, I aim to contribute to transformative changes in mental health services, ensuring that quality care is accessible to all. This journey not only reflects my commitment to excellence but also embodies my passion for creating meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of those I serve.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests center on advancing psychiatric nursing through innovative treatment modalities that integrate both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. I am particularly drawn to studying the neurobiological and psychosocial underpinnings of mental health disorders, with a focus on developing holistic care models that are both patient-centered and culturally sensitive.
