Hello! I am a 16-year-old enrolled in Nevada State High School [NSHS], which allows me to take dual-credit classes at the College of Southern Nevada [CSN] and Great Basin College [GBC]. I had maintained a 4.2 GPA at my previous high school, but I wanted to push my limits and challenge myself, which led me to take dual-credit courses at colleges. By taking these higher-difficulty classes, I've been able to face and overcome more obstacles; I continue to strive to maintain a high GPA. Besides academics, I believe it's important to be a well-rounded person, and these characteristics are achieved by volunteering and joining clubs. I had previously volunteered at my high school library and was a member of the Femineers and Debate club, along with the school's color guard team. Currently, I have volunteered at Spread the Word and plan to volunteer at a pet shelter as it allows me to assist others while also improving my social skills. By being a part of these activities, I was able to take on the leadership role in my school's color guard team and Femineer club. Currently, I attempt to take on the leadership role by assisting and socializing with others. Overall, I strive to achieve higher goals, as I intend to pursue a double major in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, followed by an MBA and possibly a Ph.D.
