Jaden Lafon

I am a civil engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin in the Cockrell School of Engineering, pursuing minors in Real Estate and Business through the McCombs School of Business. My academic and professional interests center on land development, community design, and using engineering to improve quality of life. Through internships in residential land development, civil engineering, and real estate, I have gained experience with site planning, cost estimating, feasibility analysis, and CAD drafting for large scale projects. I am especially motivated by work that combines technical problem solving with service and community impact. Alongside my studies, I am deeply involved in leadership and service organizations that focus on mentorship, housing stability, and community support, and I hope to pursue a career that uses civil engineering as a tool to strengthen and serve communities.
