About
I am currently in the 11th grade attending the Cabarrus Kannapolis Early College High School in Kannapolis, NC. In high school, I am working on my associate in science, where I am focusing on biology. After I graduate high school, I plan on attending a university where I will major in molecular and cellular biology; following my undergraduate studies, I will be attending graduate school for the same focus. I plan on using my education to make significant impacts in the fields of medicine and science. I will be researching the effects nutrition and exercise can have on a human bodies physical health and cognitive development. This research will be used in order to shift the focus of the medical field from treating the issue that patient is suffering with, to treating the patient as well as educating patients' on preventative measures they can take to keep from having these issues.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to research the effects nutrition and exercise can have on a person's physical health and cognitive development. I will focus on the ways different diets, as well as different activity levels, can effect someone's risk for heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis. This research will be used to educate the global population on ways they can lead a healthy lifestyle to reduce their risk for (chronic) disease.
- Graduate school interests
In graduate school, I plan on continuing to study molecular and cellular biology with the focus of understanding how certain lifestyle's can effect our risk for (chronic) disease.
- Outside the classroom
While not working on my education, I can be found attending CrossFit classes about 4x/ week, hiking, reading, and spending time with my loved ones.
