About

Determination is the leading factor in success. Without it we may never reach our goals. I believe that if you want to succeed at achieving your goals you must have self-determination. Without it, when you reach an obstacle or something holds you back, you may quit and never get past that barrier. Other people have the power to help motivate you to try harder, but in the end you need to be the one to have the determination, drive and dedication to keep going and to continue fighting for your goals. Many people in my life have influenced me to remain determined and stay on the right path to accomplish my goals. I have always been surrounded by strong, positive people. I strongly believe my self-determination comes from those people. My mom and my family are all positive, determined people. They have all encouraged me to succeed in whatever I do. My mom being a single parent has fought her way through college to prove to the people who said she couldn't that nothing is going to stop her; even if she is raising a child alone. Her accomplishments have required determination and hard work. She showed me that no matter what obstacles comes her way she will push through it. She have always believed in my ability to succeed in school, even when I had my doubts. As a result, I never wanted to disappoint the people who have always supported me and believed in me. I would not be where I am today without the people in my life and my own strong will and self-determination.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Intend on working in one of the best hospitals where I can treat and care for patients with Neurological problems and then on to opening my own practice around multiple states.

Graduate school interests

A highly competitive medical program that can challenge me and push me to be one of the best Neurosurgeons possible. Preferably one of the top in the United States. Minimum class size of about 20 students so that interaction with the teacher is open base than just number calling.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies are playing music on my Saxophone, Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone and drum set; sewing and designing clothes, reading, surfing the internet and playing sports (Softball and Basketball).
