Goals and interests
- Career goal
Growing up in my neighborhood I've seen my friends, my family, and people that I used to know have problems with the law, and can't get themselves out of it because they didn't have anyone to fight for them. After graduating from the college of my choice, I plan to follow my passion and study law. I plan to become a lawyer, I want to be able to be the strength for others when they're weak.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in attending Columbia's grad school program.
- Outside the classroom
I love to dance, I started dancing when I was 9 years old and I've been doing it ever since. It is a way that I express myself, it is a fun way to exercise, and it is a new opportunity to make friends. I also enjoy boxing. I have a trainer who helps me improve my technique. Boxing has helped me to clear my mind and it is great for the body. When I'm not dancing or boxing I like to spend my time cooking with my dad, although I am not very good at it, I enjoy spending time with him.
