Having worked in the insurance industry for over seven years I am open to continuing a career in the insurance and finance sector. However, I am open to exploring opportunities in other domains and industries, as the knowledge I possess in business is easily transferrable across trades. Outside the classroom

My interests are broad in range, which are the direct result of a curious mind. The areas I’m most widely interested include: people, literature, languages, art and music. Each of them rouses a different creative part of me, which has led me to unexpected communities. These simple pastimes intersected, leading me onto the platform of classical singing. I might not look like the typical classical voice persona. Yet, for the past six years I’ve explored this art form. Studying Italian, French, and German repertoire; taking private lessons and expanding my knowledge of music theory. I’ve also joined two choral groups and have been hired to sing professionally on several occasions.

A particularly memorable event was at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown LA. However, more than these wonderful opportunities, I’ve had the chance to be around some truly wonderful people. An unforgettable experience that I cherish deeply was being contracted to sing with an impressive Armenian choral group. We were commemorating a delicate history, and I was moved by the dignity, resilience and posture of forgiveness the Armenian people demonstrated that day. Not surprisingly, this experience continues to shape my interests for different communities, literature, languages, art, and music.
