The ROTC 4YR scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding applicants. In keeping with the Army high standards of excellence, candidates are selected for merit-based scholarships on their scholastic achievement and extra-curricular accomplishments.

In joining the Army ROTC program at Auburn University I will gain valuable experience that will help me excel in college and beyond. I enjoy responsibility, welcome new experiences and opportunities and like to excel and lead others. Becoming a successful cadet and an Army officer means I will be a leader, a strategist and a motivator. As an officer, I will lead by example and I will lead others in all situations and adjust in environments that are always changing. I am a disciplined, physically and mentally tough individual that commits all of my efforts on the field as well as off the field. I have always dreamed of becoming a leader and serving my country, to become a role model to my peers and to make my parents and community proud. I am committed to continuous improvement and to make an impact. I have learned there is no substitute for passion or teamwork and that being a part of something greater than one's self is the greatest experience.
