About

I am passionate about equity-minded interventions to address chronic diseases—particularly diabetes mellitus—facing underserved communities.

My work experience as a program coordinator and health ambassador during my education at the University of California, Davis, involved leading community-based health promotion events for vulnerable groups in various regions of California.

Through my experiences at UC Davis, Tufts, and Harvard School of Medicine, I've been fortunate to receive valuable research opportunities and training. These experiences have helped me develop a deeper understanding of chronic diseases and the importance of approaching them through a health-equity lens.

I hope to use my public health education, training in epidemiology and biostatistics, and my certifications in health education to further advance my mission to bring equitable resources to historically marginalized communities facing chronic diseases driven by the intersection of social determinants of health, biological risk factors, and health inequities.
