About
I am a Taiwanese-American and a trilingual student in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. I am a proud member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
I am committed to the arts. My artwork was published in the National Art Honor Society Magazine (2024), displayed at the Aurora Art Museum, and recognized by the Congressional Office of Representative Lauren Underwood. These honors reflect my ongoing passion and creativity in visual arts.
Academically, I manage ADHD and an auditory processing disorder, which has strengthened my focus, perseverance, and work ethic. I often have to work harder than most, but I remain committed to achieving my goals through resilience and determination.
At Aurora Christian High School, I’ve represented the school in national-level E-sports competitions (junior year), earned 1st place in Chess, and competed in track and field (sophomore year) in the long jump and discus. I was also part of the freshman boys’ basketball team, which placed second in the City of Lights Tournament in Aurora.
This summer, I will attend the prestigious National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): National Security – Cyber, Diplomacy, Intelligence & Defense, held at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I also serve with the Aurora Fire Department Explorer Post 99, gaining hands-on experience in emergency response, leadership, and public service. Both programs offer the opportunity to earn college credit.
Outside the classroom, I am a member of the Classic Cars Club of Aurora, Illinois, where I explore my love for design, mechanics, and enjoy bringing my 1956 Thunderbird and 1
While I am still exploring my future career path, each experience—whether in the arts, public service, or technology—helps me better understand my interests and potential. I’m passionate about both the automotive world and creative industries like graphic design and AI innovation. I may not know exactly where I’m headed yet, but I know this: I have the drive, curiosity, and determination to pursue excellence in whatever path I choose.
