About

I am a student who used to give very little care towards the quality of my work, I am not ashamed to admit it. I could not be more happy that my college transcript can fully reflect my current capabilities because my early years of high school were not true to what I believe myself to be worth. In the latter half of my high school years I managed to pull myself together and achieved a number of things I feel proud of. Establishing a student-led tutoring session for people struggling with mathematics, achieving state recognition for my Vex Robotics programming, and being in the top 30 students in the nation picked to present a product to the Samsung tech company. My work ethic has never been more constant than it is today and I am proud of my ability to balance high education, private practice for future careers, and a healthy social life.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Ever since I was a child I have wanted to do one thing and it has never changed. I want to develop video games. I know that it may not be the most noble profession but if such products can have as substantial an impact on me as a kid, then I want to be able to give that experience to as many people as possible.

Graduate school interests

From my research, careers in the computer science field do not often require more than a bachelor's to be granted a position. However, if I graduate and I still feel as though there is much more I could be doing if I were to go to the fullest extent of my education, then I will happily return once I have saved enough money from my job at the time.

Outside the classroom

In my rare free time I enjoy playing and programming a variety of different games. For a while I was the lead programmer on a state champion robotics team so I still keep up with my C+ practice. On a few occasions I have entered competitions to present products to companies such as Samsung, once presenting an app to them that I programmed myself.
