About

My high school journey began with battling a bad case of Covid 19. It was scary and it was a long recovery process for me, both physically and mentally. Over a two year span I was sick, in and out of Dr.'s offices and ended up missing a lot of school. I am proud to say that I did not let that stop me as I worked hard to maintain a high GPA of 3.8 even while things got tough. This experience not only tested my resilience but also reinforced my determination to succeed in all aspects of my life.
I joined the boxing team and began lifting weights to increase my physical endurance and try to reverse the impact Covid had taken on my body. The two years I spent boxing, taught me to dig deep and never give up. Weightlifting taught me to be disciplined in taking care of my mind and body, pushing myself past my limits. I am happy to say I am healthy and strong and do not have any lingering side effects. Beyond the classroom and athletics, I was invited to join the National Honor Society my sophomore year, in which I’m still a member. I then decided to join the Honor Society to help me achieve my goals and surround myself with motivated individuals, who want to succeed.
