About

Hello, my name is James Sutton. I am twenty-six years old, and I attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I originally attended SEOSU in 2009 after my high school graduation, but I entered the work field after my first semester to help my family. I started attending SEOSU in spring of 2016, after the birth of my son. Originally, I planned to attend OU to major in Archaeology, but for unseen circumstances, I chose instead to attend SEOSU to double major in History and Political Science with every intention of pursuing a Master's Degree in Archaeology after graduation. I am currently at the tail-end of my sophomore year, and will be a junior come summer. I am also employed at the university.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am personally wishing to pursue a career in historical and political academia: historian, curator, political scientist, professor. Although, archaeology is my ultimate goal, but for personal reasons I have not been able to attend a university to major in this specific field; I will be traversing that path after graduation.
