During my eighth-grade year and the summer going into my freshman year, I volunteered with my grandfather's bread ministry called God's Dispatcher. On every Tuesday morning, we woke up at 3 am to go to the bread warehouse to collect near-expired bread which we would load into my grandpa's trailer. This bread was made available for numerous food pantries who would collect it to feed the poor and hungry.
