I am a senior Music Education student at Western Illinois University, with an emphasis on general and instrumental education. My primary instrument is percussion, and the age level I am looking to teach is secondary education (middle-high school).

A talent grant is awarded to students who show exceptional talents as musicians, upon audition for the school of music or by ensemble performance.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to be a middle school or high school ensemble director, and would also be happy with a K-8 or 8-12 job that includes teaching general music. I do hope to earn my Master's in Performance after teaching for a minimum of 5 years. From there, I hope to continue to teach in the public schools, until I can earn my doctorate and, as a longterm goal, become a studio professor.
