Ja'Nae Beason

This year, when I take my next steps in life and go to college, I plan to major in psychology and hope to use my degree to become either a marriage and family therapist or a family court judge so I can help support and guide families through challenges.

Graduate school is an important step in both of my possible career plans. After learning my bachelor's degree in psychology, I would attend graduate school to receive training. If I choose to become a marriage and family therapist, I would earn a master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work, which would prepare me to help families and couples walk through their problems. If I choose to become a family court judge, I would attend law school to earn a law degree.

My hobbies include dancing, fashion, academics, and staying active in my church community. I participate in dance at church, which allows me to worship God in my own way. I also enjoy fashion because it gives me a way to show confidence and personal style. In my free time, I enjoy reading, and hanging out with my friends, and going to church.
