I was a student leader for a kids organization in Milwaukee called RISE which means “Real is struggle energy.” I worked as a mentor/big sister with children of different ages within the Milwaukee area that have been in poverty or had been troublesome. My mother and I bought and made food for the them, I worked with some of the younger kids by helping with homework, team building games and helped serve food for supper time.
