About
During the summer before entering high school I was given the opportunity to attend Student Leadership University (SLU) which was life changing. As the months progressed I was hooked, the SLU program is a multiyear opportunity for high school and college aged students to learn from the world’s leading CEOs, statesmen, politicians and leaders the importance of being purposeful in life. As the years progressed I was blessed to travel to destination such as Oxford University where I visited with Randolph Churchill, great-grandson to Winston Churchill, explored Normandy and the sacrificial leadership that took place as hundreds of troops stormed the beach during World War II. While visiting Israel and Jordan we were shown firsthand how generations are affected by leadership. In the United States I was inspired by round table style discussions with Presidential Staff Members, Senators, CEOs from fortune 100 companies and others who have lead our country. The opportunity to learn from successful leaders created a motivation in me to effectuate change and impact the future. Earning a business degree from Mays Business at Texas A&M University will solidify the strong foundation my family, secondary education and SLU began in my life. between analytical skills required in finance and the practical thinking necessary to pursue law will give me the necessary tools to effectuate change and contribute to the betterment of society. In my quest for a career in corporate finance as an energy attorney this degree will allow me a canvas to build my life’s work on. The balance I look forward to the opportunity to prove my value and stretch my leadership skills by participating in the Student Government Association and others organizations if I am able to secure scholarships and assistance to make ends meet during my final two years of college.

- Graduate school interests
I look forward to pursuing a fifth year at Mays Business and earning a Masters in Finance followed by a Law Degree from either the University of Houston Law Center or the University of Texas. The two law schools are both excellent opportunities as are others but my final decision will be based in economics and internship opportunities.
