About
I am a highly motivated and passionate individual who is currently a junior in college, majoring in psychology and minoring in public health. My dedication to your studies is complemented by my active involvement in various organizations and volunteering efforts, demonstrating my commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
In my spare time, you generously contribute to local food banks and the Boys and Girls Club, recognizing the importance of addressing immediate needs and providing support to underserved populations. My involvement in these volunteer activities showcases my empathy, compassion, and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Furthermore, my engagement extends beyond volunteer work, as I hold leadership positions within multiple organizations. As the Vice President of the Black Student Alliance at Bradley University, I am committed to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equality on campus. Through events, workshops, and dialogues, I strive to create an environment that celebrates cultural richness and supports the needs of marginalized communities.
My passion for the arts is evident in my role as the Vice President, Founder, and Sergeant-at-Arms of the first Black Belles of Bradley Majorette Team. By breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes, I inspire others and foster a sense of belonging for individuals who may have felt marginalized in traditional settings.
Additionally, my involvement as a board member of the Student Activities Board Review Committee highlights my dedication to enhancing student life at Bradley University. Through my contributions, I actively shape the campus culture, ensuring that events and activities are inclusive, engaging, and representative of diverse interests.
Overall, my commitment to my academic pursuits, coupled with my active involvement in volunteering and leadership roles, reflects my passion for psychology, public health, and making a positive impact in the community. My drive, empathy, and dedication serve as an inspiration to others and showcase my potential to effect meaningful change in my chosen field and beyond.
