Jared Correia

My name is Jared Correia and I am a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently enrolled in my second semester as a Junior. I have worked for 5 years in the electrical manufacturing industry as an assembly and test technician. During my time there I have gained skills with basic computer programming, data manipulation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of electrical test equipment and basic hydraulic systems. My dream is to one day become a research assistant working on cutting edge problems in the fields of Fluid Mechanics, Turbo-Machinery, and Energy Conversion. The GPA I have posted is not a true reflection of my abilities as it incorporates grades that will soon no longer count towards my overall GPA once I finish Fall 2016 semester.
