About
I was born in Houston, Texas on September 10, 1990. I attended Burkeville High School and upon graduation in 2009, I enlisted into the United States Army. In July of 2009, I attended Basic Combat training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri for a total of nine weeks. Upon graduation of Basic Combat training, I attended Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Upon graduating AIT in October of 2009, I received orders for my primary duty station which was none other than the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Shortly after arriving at Ft. Campbell, I received orders to deploy to Afghanistan as A NATO element in the efforts of Operation Enduring Freedom. On July 2, 2010 I along with 200 other individuals deployed to the mountainous region of Afghanistan for a total of 12 months. Upon completion of the deployment, I re-deployed back to the U.S. in July of 2011. Upon completing my obligation as required in my initial contract for the military, I choose not to re-enlist but to separate from the U.S. Army. In December of 2012 I left the Army and begun my college career in the Spring of 2013.
