Jaxson McInnis

Throughout high school, I built a strong foundation in technical problem-solving and leadership through academics and extracurricular activities. I continue to challenge myself with a full academic schedule that includes five AP and honors classes. I have developed strong STEM skills by taking rigorous coursework in advanced mathematics and physics and have the academic discipline to succeed in college and beyond.
Outside the classroom, I have striven to improve my leadership qualities through extracurricular activities such as marching band and DECA. I am a member of the math team, chess team, and robotics club to expand my critical thinking. Furthermore, I learned the most important lesson of all: the ability to collaborate with others for a cause greater than myself by volunteering my musical abilities to the pit orchestra for the annual school play and being a member of a private music ensemble promoting community outreach through music performances at schools and nursing homes.
All of my previous life experiences and strong STEM skills have provided me with the strong foundation required to succeed in college and beyond. I want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in automation and robotic systems.
