Honors and awards

  • dean's list

I have been a part of the dean's list for almost every semester that I have been in school which I am very happy and proud of.

  • national society of leadership and success

I was given the chance to join this society and I learned a lot. They have a lot of resources for young adults and give a lot of valuable insight into bettering your academic self and your work place self.

  • national society of high school scholars

I received this my senior year of high school in 2018-2019.

  • honor society

I received a honor's diploma for my associates of science degree in 2021.

  • national history day

In middle school I went to the Nationals competition representing Tennessee two years in a row for my group's showboard. Participating in this taught me about time management and advanced research which continues to help me today.

Goals and interests

Graduate school interests

I am interested in anything Anthropology in grad school. I would love to take part in forensic labs, or even intern an Anthropologist in any concentrated field. I am also hoping to take many Audiology classes.

Outside the classroom

I am a person with many hobbies. I love to learn (even if it's for no credit) I mostly take no credit craft classes which are a lot of fun. I also love to read, my goal this year is to read 30 books. My taste in books is all over the place but I am mostly gravitated towards fantasy books. I love watching basketball (specifically the Tennessee Volunteers). I have recently taken up a fitness journey which I spend a lot of time doing as well.

Volunteering

  • I researched ways to gain donations for the Herren Project. I did this by social media advertising, building relationships with groups who could donate money, and by reaching out to anyone.

    Aug 2019 – Jul 2022

  • I volunteered at a fundraiser at Blue Ridge Yoga that aimed to help this society in raising money to help cancer patients, and raise money for cancer research. I helped by guiding attendants, setting up, making sure things ran smoothly, and cleaning up afterwards. I did this two years in a row.
