About
Hello! My name is Jaycie McRoberts, and I am from a small town in Ohio called Washington Court House. I am a first year at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Currently I am in the exploration program, but next year my plan is to major in Health Sciences. I plan to either become an Occupational Therapist or a Physician's Assistant. In high school, I was very involved with multiple clubs, organizations, and sports, and I intend to continue this trend throughout my college experience. My parents divorced about three years ago, so I have learned to be a very responsible, self-sufficient person. I believe that this event has led to my successes, and I am a firm-believer that the obstacles that defeat you are the ones that make you stronger.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
There are two intended job paths that I may pursue. The first one involves majoring in Health Sciences and receive an undergraduate degree in psychology. From there, I plan to attend the Ohio State University's Doctorate Occupational Therapy Program to become a licensed Occupational Therapist. The other job path that I am contemplating about is first I plan to major in Health Sciences with an undergraduate degree in a science field. After this, I plan to attend the 2 year program at the Ohio State University to become a Physicians Assistant.
- Graduate school interests
In my head, I know for sure that I am wanting to pursue a career in the Health field. I also know that I will attend some sort of Graduate school in the future. As of right now, I will either attend the Doctorate program for Occupational Therapy at the Ohio State University or I will attend the graduate program at the Ohio State University to become a Physician's Assistant.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include playing volleyball and basketball, spending time with family, and being outdoors. I am also a very active person, and I love to try new things. I am always down for an adventure, and I love meeting new people. In addition, I like to play with pets and be around different kinds of animals.
