Jayla Brooks

I am a junior Communications Studies major with a minor in African American studies at the University of Houston. Within my Communications major, I have a concentration of Interpersonal Communications. With both my major and minor, I will have the knowledge of the interaction between communication and relationships on both a one -on-one and societal level with an emphasis on African American communities .After college, I plan on using my major and minor to become a writer for a nonprofit organization that helps within local African American communities. I currently work at my university's interlibrary loan department.
