Jayla Mcdonald

BFA Musical Theatre student at Point Park University with a minor in Dance and a 3.57 GPA, on the Dean's List every term. I mentor younger performers in audition preparation, choreograph youth showcases, and assist with community theater productions. I'm passionate about expanding representation for Black women in musical theatre, both on stage and in casting and artistic leadership. Career goals: performing professionally on Broadway and in touring productions, then moving into mentorship, casting, and artistic direction to open doors for the next generation of artists.
