Being an African American of a low income houses and limited opportunities, us goal driving and full with ambition millennials tend to fall short when it comes to achievement and recognization. Being raise in a multicultural house wasnt easy I've had to to push myself to become better just for approval and acceptance. I've pushed myself to become a better me as I knew college and becoming a nurse was the life I intended on pursuing after my grand father died of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. At an early age I became his primary care provider and with this experience it shaped me to become a leader all throughout high school. I was the last of my school student body president class of 2019. I was Involved in community service at our local veteran hospitals, debate, sports, student goverment, One-Goal and student success job career. As my school was shuttting down that year, I've made networking connections with Boston public schools in Massachusetts and district representatives in order to save our community, taken a stand on what I believed in, advocated for others and supporting our teachers. I later enrolled in University of Massachusetts- Darthmouth continuing my journey of helping others and pursuing my dreams on becoming a nurse to always be able to advocate for others in need and give back.
