Jazmine Loague

My name is Jazmine Loague, and I aspire to become a librarian because I am deeply passionate about the work they do and the environment of the library. My experience working in a library over the summer gave me firsthand insight into the role, and it solidified my desire to pursue this career.

For a long time, I was uncertain about what path I wanted to take as I prepared for independence. However, my internship at the library changed everything. From the moment I started working, I knew that this was where I belonged. The opportunity to assist patrons, organize materials, and contribute to an environment that fosters learning and community engagement resonated with me in a way nothing else had.

Becoming a librarian is more than just a career choice for me—it is a calling. I am eager to continue developing my skills and knowledge in this field, and I look forward to the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a library setting.
