Jazmyn Jones

I am gaining valuable professional experience in my current role as a staff accountant for a mid-sized cooperation like the International Diamond Center. I plan to remain in that role as I complete my graduate school education and CPA certification. I then intend to advance my career through a government service, entering as a high quality candidate for leadership positions in the accounting branch. There I will build the capital necessary to invest in my ultimate goal of founding my own tax practice, and providing that service to my community on a scale that can make a meaningful difference.

I intend to achieve my Doctorate degree in accounting. I am also interested in campus activates involving civics and local government, philosophy, equity and diversity. Should the opportunity arise, I believe participating in international travel or cultural exchange programs would be a very fulfilling experience.
