About
Hello there,
My name is Jazmyne Ewing, also known as Jazzy by my friends, and I've selected to move up as a silver member of the Honors Society! I hope that whomever I catch the attention of reading this can take on the opportunity to get to know me and my work. I am unlike many others when it comes to my motivational drive and anyone can see that. I aspire to be great in anything I do and to make an impact on my Colorado community to my full capacity. I also want to make an impact within my family as I am a first-generation student. It is my goal to be a part of my school's community and make something of myself than how I was back in Aurora. I have started a project that is in the works, so that's a start in something that is being done currently that I am proud of. I am trying my hardest to grow into the person I've always aspired to be in the future because these past years have been some of the hardest years of my life. After losing my grandfather to covid and being in an abusive household, I've found myself stuck. College is a new and EXPENSIVE experience for me and has been doing it all on my own which causes me stress at times. I also have anxiety that impacts my everyday situations, which is why I'm grateful to have made it this far as a sophomore. Coming to school and being a part of organizations helped me escape poverty and a worse mental state, for that, I will continue to do my absolute best! This might be the only shot I get again at an opportunity for a better life and intend to do just that. I hope that you enjoy getting to know me better in the next sections. Thank you again for giving me this beautiful opportunity, I feel so honored to be a proud silver member of the Honors Society! :)

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After I finish my studies at Colorado state University and receiving my bachelors in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in business, I then plan to go onto chiropractic school. I hope that during those four years of training, I am then able to earn my doctor of chiropractic degree at Colorado Chiropractic Association and then obtain my license. After I am at the point of financial stability, I want to build my own chiropractor clinic.
- Graduate school interests
Schools that have caught my eyes these past years of searching for the best Chiropractic schools are Colorado Chiropractic Association and Colorado Boulevard Chiropractic Center. These schools are both five star clinics within the state of Colorado and attend to go into one of the best clinics to get the right education.
- Outside the classroom
A hobby I've been doing for five-plus years now, that I still love, is playing the violin. I've been the first chair for four years and although I don't play at schools anymore, I still play in my bedroom for the fun of it. I also love to paint and listen to music while doing both. It really calms me and makes me feel like I can express myself in both of these categories. I preferably enjoy painting portraits the most out of all paint forms. Some music I love listening to is R&B because it's very soothing. Lastly, I write because it's also a form of art where I feel most comfortable expressing my thoughts. I like to write short stories that match the paintings I draw. In a way, all my hobbies connect and relate to one another.
