About
Sixteen years after going back to school to earn my Chef Certificate, I'm back in school working towards a counseling certificate and a B.A. degree. I'm pursuing something I feel strongly about and it's showing in my words, my thoughts , my actions and my attitudes. I'm a full-throttle alpha personality and I take everything I do seriously. When counseling at-risk youth, it's imperative to build trust in order to have any impact on the growing problem of addiction.

- Career goal
As one who knows first hand the perils of addiction, I'm working towards my C.A.D.C I certificate and eventually my bachelors degree. I'd like one day to open my own Christian addiction counseling practice.
- Graduate school interests
I'm leaning towards working with the youth in a pre-emptive effort to growing problem of substance abuse and addiction.
- Outside the classroom
I have over twenty years' experience in the food service profession including supervising and administering day-to day operations, front/back of house management, and a high level of culinary expertise. I have a passion for cooking and helping others to become their very best. When I do have any free time I'm usually in the gym, walking around Downtown Portland "people watching" or taking in the occasional movie. I'm also a "Sherlockian"!
