About
I started school when I was 18 years old. After life circumstances and children, I am now going back to school to complete my degree and then my plan is to continue my education towards my Master's Degree. I have not always taken school seriously, especially when I was younger, however, as I have gotten older and my frontal lobe has developed, I enjoy school and am committed to completing my education goals. I will be the first generation to go to college in my family line and I hope to encourage my five children to do the same.

Honor's Society
I am so excited to be a member of the Honor's Society. Being the first of my family to graduate is important and it feels nice to be recognized for all the work I have put into school.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
At this time, I am not sure my job path. I do know that I want to work counseling women specifically through their traumatic events and help them process through their healing. I find cognitive development with biological components interesting. I enjoy mental health as well and have experience working in a ministry with homeless women and their children. I would like to work in a faith based practice but opened to ideas.
- Graduate school interests
I want to eventually work towards my masters. I am still not sure what that looks like, however I do believe the education will be important to providing the future role I have in my career.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy driving and spending time listening to music. I have a big family so family weekends are packed with activities. I enjoy helping women who are in between stable housing. I enjoy talking to them and teaching them.
