I am currently working to earn a Master's Degree from East Carolina University in the field of Network Technology: Digital Communications, Thesis track. Upon graduation I will have also completed the work necessary to receive the Computer Network Professional Certificate. My areas of interest are Self-Organizing Networks (SONs), specifically the self-healing functionality, big data analytics, cloud computing/networking, and Internet of Things (IoT).

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Since May of 2016 I have been working at Shentel Communications, a Sprint affiliate, as a Network Engineer. I very much enjoy working the the field of telecommunications - it is a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment in which there is never ending opportunity to learn about and use up and coming technologies such as IoT, Cloud computing, etc. In the future, I plan for my career to be within mobile broadband communications working with these cutting edge technologies.

My areas of interest are Self-Organizing Networks (SONs), specifically the self-healing functionality, big data analytics, cloud computing/networking, and Internet of Things (IoT). The focus of my thesis is achieving automation of self-healing functionality as part of a SON in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) environment.
