I applied to college while raising my children, ( a little later in life). My intentions were to get a BSN considering I am already a massage therapist and a licensed esthetician. I had plans to administer injections and create a beauty business in this booming field of aesthetics. I was able to work part time and go to school, but ultimately needed a break as passing the TEAS was not as easy. I ran out of time during the first test, then I did not get a high enough percentage the second. I decided to take a break from school, work full time as a Sub, and thought I would change my degree to education. I am currently working as a full time teacher now, have had a change of heart in my degree, and am interested in school PSY with a minor in school based mental health. I have been in the classroom for 4 years, and understand the need for school psychologists and the importance of mental health in schools.
