About
I have been in the medical field for over 26 years and have worked in a variety of hospitals; from small, rural critical access hospitals, to medium sized, urban hospitals, to city hospitals that are trauma hospitals. I also experience in home care as a respiratory therapist.
I am currently the program chair for Ivy Tech Community College Indiana, for the Respiratory Therapy Program. I want to earn my BSN degree so I can be more marketable and work on my home business, as a legal nurse consultant. This will allow me to use my nursing skills while being at home to care for my 88 year old mother.

I am earning my BSN degree to further promote my legal nurse consulting business.
- Outside the classroom
I love to wilderness camp, hike and fish in the Canadian Northwoods. I have completed over 20 trips there, including 1 31 day trip and 3 solo trips.
I play the piano. My favorite music to play is classical.
I live on a 100 acre hobby farm and care for dogs, cats, horses, ducks, rabbits and chickens.
I enjoy reading mysteries, especially those with a medical background.
