About

Hello, I am a prospective game designer that is currently enrolled in my first year at the University of Utah. I am going for their BS in Games with a minor in psychology. I had previously studied at Idaho State University under their Psychology program. Going to college has always been incredibly important to me and has been a great honor to pursue. Now that I have the guidance of the Entertainment Arts and Engineering program, I'm confident that I can become an excellent addition to the videogame industry. With this in mind, I have been extremely dedicated to my aspirations while also maintaining a life that requires balancing a full-time job and achieving high grades in my classes. To prove this distinction, I have been invited to both the U's Honors society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars while also being recognized on both the University of Utah and Idaho State University deans lists for the past two years.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My dream is to become a successful and well versed game designer. I have an interest in 3d modeling and level design as well as the psychological components that help shape the framework for rewarding player behavior. My preferred career placement would be to work in a studio with other talented game developers on exciting and innovative games that not only embrace player enjoyment but also challenge industry standards.

Graduate school interests

I am most definitely excited for an opportunity to further my education by going through the Master of Entertainment Arts and Engineering program as soon as I can complete my bachelor's degree in games.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies include studying game mechanics, playing a wide variety of different games, and building/ modeling projects.
