Jessica Guilbeaux

My name is Jessica Guilbeaux. I was born in Chicago, but at four months old I became a Texan. I grew up in the DFW Metroplex. I began my education in the Arlington ISD and then later moved to Dallas ISD where I completed my high school education at the School for the Talented and Gifted. I luckily I was able to attend the college of my dreams, Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. Shortly after graduation, I joined the followed "the family business" and became a long term substitute teacher. Eventually, I was recruited for the Alternative Certification Program. After completing the program a high school English teacher. Two years later, I became an Advanced Placement English teacher. The job was fulfilling, however, it was never what I envisioned as my life's work. Therefore, I considering varying alternatives I decided a degree healthcare administration and business administration would lead to a challenging and rewarding career.
