About
I graduated from Oakland University with my Bachelors in Sociology back 2013. At the time I was so anxious to be "done" with school I really hadn't put much thought into what kind of career I would have. I thought for many years I'd go back to school for Social Work because that is where I have had the most work experience. It wasn't until I worked as an Admission Coordinator that I even learned about Nursing Home Administration. Currently I am a supervisor at Southwest Solutions for the city of Detroit's coordinated assessment model. We are the coordinated entry for services related to connect people with housing resources, guidance and referrals to shelter. I look forward to graduating and using the skills I've learned in my course work and present job and being a successful administrator.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to continue to learn more about the running of Skilled Nursing Facilities and other senior living communities as an Administrator. I hope to open my own facility one day.
- Outside the classroom
I love all things sports related. I coached volleyball for 10 years. Now that my daughter is getting older I like to keep her busy and my focus lately has been on her. I also love to bake.
