About
Professional Bio:
Jessica Schelling has always had a heart for teaching. From 2009 to 2011, she worked in two daycare companies Color My World and Growing in God’s Love. Prior to her experience as a preschool teacher and daycare provider, because of her desire to strengthen her faith in the Lord, Jessica went to a Ministry School for two years and learned about biblical studies. From 2008 to 2010, her desire for the Lord and her love of teaching children grew and became more evident. A few years later she transitioned to owning her own daycare business, Sonrise Daycare from 2011 to 2013, where she learned valuable lessons in business ownership.
In 2015, Jessica became an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper of a third-generation metal manufacturing company, Swiss Glacier Metal Works inc. She worked from the ground up in learning how to run the financial side of the business.
Then, from 2018 to 2020, Jessica taught ESL online through VIP Kids and Qkids teaching English to children in China. During this time, she received a TESOL License.
Desiring a higher education to become a teacher, she graduated Purdue Global University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Administration.
Today, she sets her eyes on becoming an online teacher in higher education as she graduates with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education at Liberty University and was awarded a certificate from the Honors Society in 2023.
