Jessica Willathgamuwa

I am currently a Pre-Business Economics student at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. I am studying to eventually become an Economics Analyst or Business Consultant at a Fortune500 Company and I am excited to work my way up the business structures, whilst learning as much as I can about the functions, roles and responsibilities of different aspects of a business. I have always expressed a love for maths, statistics and application of mathematical formulas into world problems. I enjoy looking at data and deriving patterns and also presenting potential future statistics. Whilst working at a grocery store in Sydney, Australia, I regularly analyzed sales for the day and compared the results to previous weeks as well as my observations of discount sales and the different types of customers that entered that store that week. I currently work at Panera Bread in Peachtree Corners and absolutely enjoy being surrounded by a close team of hardworking individuals and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with each customer that enters the store. Having a conversation with different people has been one of the main highlights of working at Panera Bread as well as meeting new people every single day. Furthermore, I am currently working extremely hard physically and mentally to become a member of the USA Women's Cricket Team. I look forward to the one day that I will get to represent the country in cricket and play the sport that I have always had a passion for. Ultimately, I am excited to pursue my career in Business Economics whilst also travelling around America meeting new people and discovering further skills and talents.
