About

I attached an unofficial transcript that is not including the gpa for the Fall 2015 semester, and attached the screenshot of my grade report for the Fall 2015 semester, since the offices are closed because it is winter break. As an international student, I was not doing well in the beginning, because I was not fully able to understand lectures in English. However, I was able to realize my linguistic ability was improving as time was going by. With passion both on academic studies and language, I have been receiving higher gpa since 2012 semester as seen on my transcript. By the way I had to go back to South Korea to serve military for three years. Even though I was a little afraid that I might have hard times to get used to using English, I overcame the difficulties with endless efforts, (for example my maximum sleeping hours per day was four hours a day), and I was eventually able to receive 4.0 gpa for Fall 2015 semester. And I will do my best again to receive 4.0 gpa for the Spring 2016 semester again, so I would have cumulative gpa that is higher than 3.0.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I currently have two goals. Firstly, I am interested in working at banks in the United States. I have already achieved three licenses on financial investment, derivative investment, and securities investment in South Korea. I am not sure if they are helpful to work at banks in the United States, but I, at least, am already used to the banking system. Secondly, if I fail to get a job in the United States, I will go back to Korea, and to become a lawyer. Since my family had suffered for five years from judges' unfair decision, and had became a victim for dirty bribery and corruption even at supreme court back in South Korea, I have been strongly thinking to become a judicial officer.

Graduate school interests

If I get to choose the path to become a lawyer, I would definitely go to law school, but in South Korea.

Outside the classroom

Playing soccer, tennis, basketball, swimming, and boxing. Listening musics. Going to Theatre and concert.
