About

I am a 54-yr-old former oil field worker. After a work-related injury in January of 2021, I became unable to perform the physical labor required of my position. During my recovery, I saw my wife of 34 years through her education, as well as my oldest daughter. Both graduated Summa Cum Laude in their disciplines and my wife has since completed her Master degree in History. In January of 2023, I returned to college for the first time since 1994. My education is critical to my ability for re-entry into the labor force. My days in the oil field are past me, but I have worked the world over, and I bring a vast wealth of practical knowledge to combine with my education. Honors Society would afford me avenues to finance that education and open new doors in networking toward my future.
